Downloading Data from the ICPSR

Users can search the ICPSR data holdings two ways. First they can use the Emory's Electronic Data Center Search Engine. Or they can go directly to the ICPSR website and search from there. In general, we recommend that users start with the ICPSR website to search for data and then use the Data Center search engine to see if we have already processed data for a particular study into a particular format (SAS, SPSS, or Stata).

Remote Access to ICPSR Data

For off-campus access to the ICPSR and its holdings, go to Databases at Emory. Off-campus access requires usage of your Emory Network ID and password; see this site for additional information about accessing library resources off-campus.

All users of ICPSR data should read the ICPSR's Responsible Use Statement before downloading ICPSR data and documentation.
